Over 30 New Referees Join in October

Georgia Express has been selected as an inaugural member of the Postively Soccer Referee Program. Funded by US Soccer, the program includes limited sponsorship for new certified referees, hosting of referee courses, and launching our new Jr Referee program. 8 new certified referees and 25 Jr Referees joined the Georgia Express Referee program in October 2022.

Georgia Express will host a Referee Course on February 18, 9:00AM-2:00PM at Shakerag Elementary. You must be 13 years of age or older to attend.
The Jr Referee program has 25 11-12 year olds and counting to serve as U8-U12 referees before being age eligible to become certified referees. Click the link if you would like to sign-up for the next Jr Referee course for 11-12 year olds.

Want to Become a Soccer Referee?
Georgia Express FC is currently looking for soccer enthusiasts (ages 13 through adult) who would like to become referees. In order to referee, you must first take an United States Soccer Federation certification course. Referees make $20-50 per game!
Course requirements include:
• Completing an online course
• Attending a field training session
• Attend a 1 hour virtual meeting
