About Pre-Academy
The Georgia Express Pre-Academy Program is designed for young players who are ready for a more structured soccer environment focused on skill development, confidence, teamwork, and preparation for future Academy soccer. Coach Dan Farnham and Coach James Williams will lead the program for Fall 2026-Spring 2027.
Players will train with Georgia Express coaches in a development-focused setting that emphasizes:
- Ball mastery and comfort on the ball
- Dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting
- Small-sided games
- Confidence and creativity
- Listening, effort, and coachability
- Introduction to team concepts and competitive play
Program Structure
Pre-Academy players should expect:
- Two training sessions per week
- Weekend small-sided play opportunities
- Professional coaching
- Age-appropriate player development
- Fall and Spring season programming
